Vignettes

As a child, I loved creating stories. With wooden blocks and plastic figures, I would craft open-ended narratives, grand tales with endless possibilities, as a way to make sense of my world. Over the years, I've gathered items that remind me of those imaginative times. By intuitively arranging these diverse objects into individual vignettes, I've given them a stage to enact their own moments and stories. For children, these scenes are often quickly abandoned and transformed into something new. Here, I've captured the vignettes as photographs, driven by a more adult instinct to preserve these stories.
